NCSC and The Protection Project at The Johns Hopkins University School of Advanced International Studies (SAIS) were recently awarded a 15-month grant from the US Department of State to conduct a project to promote human rights in Egypt.  The program will provide a high impact 15-month training and outreach program.  The overall goal of the proposed program is to bolster the capacity of Egyptian civil society institutions working toward defense of human rights to provide specialized and effective legal assistance and representation to victims of human rights violations.
